Superboy Prime took half the Infinity Gems after killing Thanos then went off to find the other half and tried to create a device that would allow him to blink all evil heroes out of existence and into death. This mass murder would leave him as the only hero. However, heroes and villains from all over the universe did the same and tried to stop the psychotic kryptonian. While others cope with the shifting powers and destinies. Learning their lives are no longer what they once were...
It is now a world where Darkseid has never found Earth. A time where the Avengers have neither formed or joined together as heroes but under the watch of 'S.H.I.E.L.D.'. A time where two powerful mutants named Xavier and Magnus formed a school for mutants, only to later split it apart for war. A place which the government has funded a 'S.E.N.T.I.N.E.L.' program which slowly changes into something more than it was intended. The war between secrets and open knowledge for civility will not be for years in the future. If ever to pass.
