Personality: 

Lex is a genuinely friendly guy and his magentic personality tends to pull people towards him. Despite his never ending lame jokes, people tend to stick around when they meet him. He's kind, attractive, and generous to a fault, more than happy to disadvantage himself for the sake of others.

History: 

Being an only child was never really a problem for Lex. Nor was it this wonderful thing many of his friends thought it was. It was just a thing. He was not the sort of child to need bucket loads of attention, but he made enough friends that he was never lonely. He was never spoiled, though his family had plenty. All in all it was a good balance and Lex turned out to be good people.

To be honest, sometimes in the past people have taken advantage of his naturally giving nature and he's learned to tone it down a great deal. Though he still can't pass someone in need and not try to help (particularly with the current situation). It's just in his nature to help others, he can't really help it.

High school ended, as it does, and he went on to university for no particular reason. It was just something to do, and it was something all his friends were doing. What he really wanted to do was to be a lifeguard, he'd always liked the beach and it fit his selfless personality quite well. So he made sure he was a part time student, taking classes like media studies that would require little concentration while he joined a surf life saving club and began training. It didn't take long, surprisingly. Mere months later, he had sat his exam and was alternating between guarding the beach and studying.

It was a couple of years before he and his friends realised they'd never done their big OE. They wanted to take a break from the studying and the working and go have an adventure for a while. But where to? Everyone always goes to New Zealand, or England and they wanted to go somewhere exotic. It was Lex's idea to go to morearea. It was just passed New Zealand and it was supposed to have a wicked history. Once they got there though, they never left. They all took jobs at the resort and decided they'd probably never go home again. It was just that nice a place. Naturally, Lex took one of the lifeguard positions at the beach.

It was working at the resort that introduced him to his now good friend, Rose Lennon. Well sort of. It was mutual friend's of theirs who had decided to set them up on a blind date. Something Lex wasn't really looking forward to, considering what happened on his last blind date... When he arrived for dinner, he discovered that Rose was actually pretty cool. Very blunt but very cool. They hit it off, but not in the way his friends had hoped. He and Rose became very close friends. In fact, Rose is probably the best friend he's ever had. Willfull and unwilling to compromise, she helps push him past his limits. And he does the same for her.

Now there are zombies everywhere. Who could have guessed that? Besides everyone who knew the history of the island of course. It's impossible not to think about who these zombies might have been once, especially when he spots a familiar face. He's on the hunt for Rose and the rest of his friends, but he's dreading the moment he sees them, dead eyed and opened mouthed, moaning for his flesh.
